Before I ask for someones opinion on this idea, let me give you some background info on my current schedule/situation and how I am currently doing.

First of all, I have already signed up for classes for my Junior year. They are listed here:
AP U.S History
AP Physics I/II (My school is going to fit both classes into a year-long course)
Spanish IV Honors (Don't worry about this)
Pre-calculus
English (Once again, don't worry about this, its a college-prep class that is no doubt going to be a breeze for me).

Keeping the classes I have chosen in mind, take my current Sophomore situation into count:
World History Honors- A-B range, fluctuates constantly. (I have some difficulty understanding concepts in this class. My school does not offer an AP course for this type of class but 50% of the students in this class sign up for the AP exam and get a 5 or a 4.)
Chemistry (College-Prep)- A-A+ Range (This is a college-prep class, but the school I attend is known for having one of the most vigorous college-prep programs in the country).
Algebra II- A+
Trigonometry- A+
All the rest of the classes don't really matter for this question.

So now that all the background information has been given, here is my plan that I have been envisioning for the past 3 week or so:

Back out of APUSH and go to College-prep U.S. History. (This has been the first year I have struggled with a Social Studies class, maybe history isn't my thing.)

Take as a 6th class: AP Chem

Now all said, has anyone had a prior experience while taking both the AP Physics and Chemistry course? I'm not a big fan of being up until 1 AM doing homework for a class that is demanding me to study for a 100 point test while doing reading and having to work on a research paper at the same time. However, I do have a complete interest of going into the Medical field or becoming a Petroleum/Biochemical engineer of some sort. I had an absolute great time in Chemistry this year and I really think I found something that works for me. I also excel in Math to great extents so I believe that would be a 'plus.'

I do have a meeting with my actual counselor in school this coming week, but I would really like some first-hand accounts of how someones experience was and how they handled it.

Thanks!
