Ask what the normal progression is for honors students ith Physics in MS:
Physics 1-> honors chem-> honors bio-> AP chem OR ap physics C
Or
Honors Chem-> Honors/AP Bio → AP Chem/ Phys C/APES.
Most systems with a Physics first science program do NOT “repeat&focus more in depth on some physics topics” in the 9th grade but rather do so in order for all students to have had physics (or physical science), bio, and chem so that they can then pick science courses based on their interests, academic levels, and college ambitions.
Taking AP ohysics 1 in the 9th grade means you’re required to take chem and bio in the 10th and 11th grade, leaving only 1 possibility to choose in the 12th.
AP CSP is a freshman class at our high school - it’s really not difficult at all
