AP classes senior year

I’m in senior year and I have taken AP Government, AP Economics, AP Literature, AP Calculus B/C, Advanced Choir and AP Chemistry. However the workload has proven to be too much for me. The AP Chemistry class is truly the only class that I am struggling in, and seeing that I am planning to major in international business or foreign policy fields, should I keep AP Chemistry on my schedule?? I’ve taken AP Bio, Chemistry Honors, and Physics Honors as my other science courses. I’m wondering if this is enough in the eyes of colleges, or if I should keep the extra year of science AP Chem will give me and try to bring up my grade. If I drop within a week, nothing will show up on my transcript.

Do I drop AP Chem and only have 5 classes as a senior?

Thank you,
Maya

yes, as long as you have taken a year of chem, bio and physics over the course of high school, you can drop AP Chem. 5 classes is the normal amount. Not to mention you are still taking 4 ap classes so your definitely not slacking. Don’t let a science course that you will not need in college hold back your gpa.

You are still very competitive for colleges, even without AP Chemistry. It is much better to drop a class that you are not doing well in, so it doesn’t affect your GPA. Also, you still have four AP’s which is impressive. What I would do is probably drop the class and focus to get good grades and test scores in those other AP’s.
