I would really like to self-study AP Comp Gov this year using the Ethel Wood book. The latest version I’ve seen is the 5th edition. However, the cheapest I’ve been able to find it is probably a little over $80. I’m really not interested in paying this much for the book. I’ve found older editions for cheaper. Is it okay if I use the 4th edition to study for the test instead of the 5th? Are there any major differences between the two books that should take note of and is there anyway to make up for these differences?

Found a bunch for ~$20. I got my 5th edition last year for around $25. She might have a 6th edition out this year.
