AP Comparative Government & Politics OR AP US Government & Politics?

Hi, I'll just get straight to the point.
I've had some experience with what the CollegeBoard would call "Government & Politics," and so I decided to take one of the two AP Government & Politics Tests offered by CB. However, at my school, we do not have the option of taking an AP Government & Politics course, which pushes me to self-studying for either one of the two tests instead.

To any CCer who has taken either, or both exam(s), can you give me advice on choosing which test to self-study for? I heard that the Comparative one is harder than the US one, but the US one is much more difficult to receive a 5 on. I take AP US History as a regular school course, so I wonder if that would be any help towards studying the exam.

Thanks!

the comparative one is definitely alot more interesting than regular government. I got REA's book for it, and pretty much self studied since my teacher taught nothing. It helped that I actually liked what I was learning for comparative.

but i would say comparative.
