AP Computer Science - Need a good book to learn from.

<p>Hey,</p>

<p>I decided I'm going to self-study for the AP Computer Science exam because I already know quite a bit about programming and the concepts of it. I know PHP and a bit of C++/JavaScript. I'm sure I could learn Java in a few months. I need a good, up-to-date book to study from - preferably my only resource other than the computer. I saw some suggests in posts from 2006 but no recent posts. Does anybody have any recommendations?</p>

<p>The review book by Maria Litvin is pretty good for preparation for the AP test, which should be good enough if you also use resources from online.</p>
