Ap Computer Science

ya apparently, all you need is 60/108 to get 5 on calc bc…i think thats unfair though because not all 5s are equal…thats why 43% or so get 5s on calc but only 11% or so on euro.

I thought the FRQs were easy enough, but a couple of the MC threw me.

A few of the questions reminded me of some ACSL programs.

well i misse devery single grid world quesiron cause our teacher never taught us that.

she gets paid money for doing nothing…shes never even explained anything in class.

I took it to : / .

I skipped 8 M/C and thought the FRQ’s were my strong point this time around.(Give or take a few errors)

What score do you guys think i’ll get???

I though I actually passed even though i only invested 10 hours into self studying A
about 30/40 mchoice answered
hopefully 1/2 for trying on frq maybe a little more because 2 of my answers actually could work . That would definately net a 3.

I thought that I did very well. The AB test was easier than all of the practice tests that I have taken. I did well on the run times, which gave me a hard time throughout the year, and I think that I did very well on the free response and only got points off for stupid, little errors. I think that I got a 4, but could have even gotten a five (not totally sure though, because the last practice test that I took I thought I did well on the MC, but did terrible, so I guess my score could be lower, but I don’t think I will recieve less than a 3.)

I guess we’ll, have to wait another 2 months to see what we got. Two tests down, and two to go (including my hardest…Bio :().

About FRQ, does it have to be like perfect for us to get a 5?

was really easy. 5 fo sho

FR doesn’t have to be perfect… if you get about 3/4 of each right then you’ll get a 5.
Although the grading is kinda nice. You get partial credit for “attempting”

After taking A, I thought it was a lot easier than the practice tests. We’ll know in July.

lol, whatever grade i get will officially determine the real difficulty level of ab comp sci.

cuz i totally did not teach myself anything (self-studied AB while taking the A course) cept barely went over the collections and my barrons book, and then i think i miiiight of done okay on the test. i mean besides the fact that i had no idea what i was doing and skipped every single big oh notation problem because i never learned that correctly… i still feel like i did pretty decently.

like wooooo i can’t wait to find out my score.

there were just so many collections questions on today’s test :X which I kinda skimped on. I thought the free-response was a joke though, probably a 4 or 5

I thought there was a strong emphasis on % for some reason… frq was okay. minor troubles with one, um consecutive, part.

I spent only a week studying AB (I started last Monday), so I thought I was screwed.

The multiple choice wasn’t too bad, just really tricky (like going back, I found myself tripping on little errors).

The free-response was a great sigh of relief. I finished in about 55 minutes.

Hoping for good results! Good luck everyone.

The AB test was far and away easier than the practice tests in Barron’s. That book is absolutely demoralizing (though it does explain things very well).

What is the proper way to define methods in gridworld case study of a actor class that extends critter (or any other, like Bug). If asked to write an entire class for it, would you write like

public void method ()
{
super…
}

or would it be wise to define them over?

super and then more is partial overriding. I don’t think we were supposed to do that

I thought it was pretty hard =(

If I got skipped around 5-10 questins on multiple choice and got 5 wrong, and did pretty well on the free response (maybe 30/40) what would be my score?

Please tell me I could get a 4…

hey guys i know that barrons says 60-80 for comp sci a but does that sound realistic. It seems a little bit of a harsh curve…anyone know a real curve as given be collegeboard. I hope the actual curve is something like 55+
