AP course article from WSJ

I read this article with interest in the "real" WSJ and found it online:
<a href="http://www.*******.com/thread.php?thread_id=110155&mc=5&forum_id=1#1697964%5B/url%5D">http://www.*******.com/thread.php?thread_id=110155&mc=5&forum_id=1#1697964</a></p>

This issue is of interest to me, as my S is a senior applying at this time at several colleges. BTW, he will graduate without having taken any AP courses, but will have taken several AP tests. He attends a magnet school that offers only 4 AP classes, but every course at the school is honors level and many are college level. So it's been interesting to try and answer the question on the applications about "how many APs did you take"?
Thought other parents going through the process would find the article interesting.

I see that the link did not print correctly. I found it using google and entering WSJ "drop AP courses"
