lol sorry but art 3d will not help you at all.the six you were originally gonna take are almost identical to the six that i'm taking, and i got into uchicago, so...

So obviously he's a failure who will never get into UChicago if he doesn't take exactly what you took.

Take the highest level that you're interested in. Personally, I opted for AP Lit over Honors English 12 because the HE12 curriculum was soul-crushingly depressing ("Stressed about college? Let's read Poe!"). I also fought my way into AP Bio because I wanted to dissect a cat, and I took AP Euro because I love European History. AP Calculus is really the only class that I took for the AP weighting.

Those six sound good. If you're still not sure I recommend focusing on what YOU can do. Forget about what everyone else is doing, and just take as many classes as you can do well.

Don't worry, it's better to get As in six AP classes than Bs in 10.

Do you think you can do well in that many AP's?

I would stick with 5 and maybe 6 max. You kind of want to be able to pass the classes as well as keep up with work...and get the credit for them, of course.

And who wants to be a second semester senior with 10 AP's on their plate? I'm regretting taking 5, if only because I have absolutely NO motivation whatsoever after getting into some good colleges so far.

i am pretty sure i can manage the APs. and i wanted to take art 3d because i finished art 2d and art history and... art is one of my activities anyway.
the question is the classmate/class standing issue. i'd hate it if the class ranking killed my application just because i didn't take a few more APs.
