AP courses you took

Hi! I was wondering what AP science courses (Bio, Physics, Chem) those of you who currently attend, have been accepted to, or graduated from Yale took?

I didn't take any AP science courses, and they were all offered by my school. I didn't have an interest and there was no room for them in my schedule. I did take all of the "social science" APs at my school though (US, Euro, Econ, Gov).

I was accepted to Yale and will be attending next fall.

I took all the AP sciences (Physics B & C, Bio, Chem).

NewT and I both got in, so it really all depends.

I took AP Bio in 11th grade and AP Physics B (C was not offered at my school) in 12th grade. I took Honors Chem in 10th grade because we were not allowed to take an AP science class sophomore year.

Shara, you loser - why aren't you on AIM?

My school doesn't offer any AP science courses, and I got in. I did, however, take US History, English Lit., US Government, and Calculus AB.

For junior year, US History, Biology; for senior year, US Government, English Literature, Calculus AB, Physics B, Chemistry.

The last two were only offered via an online consortium. What fun that was. :rolls eyes:

Was accepted and'll attend next fall.

Basically, if your school offers a lot of AP classes, take them. However, you don't have to take ALL of them, and you don't have to go beyond what your schedule will allow. If you can't take that extra AP class, don't take it after school just to look good for colleges. If you actually want to take it because you love the subject or something do that though.

I think newt's advice is best.

I took AP Physics by the way.

I didn't take that many APs - AP English (11th & 12th grades), AP Physics (12th), AP US History (11th), AP Calculus BC (12th), and I still got in so I'd say just do what seems reasonable. Challenge yourself but don't go nuts.

AP US Hist, AP Calc, AP Physics, AP Psych, AP English, AP Gov...didn't take any of the tests though...didn't want to spend the money for no usable credit.

I took Chemistry and Biology, along with English Literature, English Language, Calculus AB, US History, European History, and US Government.

Other classes: European History (10), English Lang/Comp (11), American History (11), English Lit (12), French Language(12), Physics B (12), Calculus BC (12)
