ap credit and stuff

Hey, I plan on majoring in chem or biochem to later go on to be a pharmacist and obviously this major is not related to gov/political science at all. however, i am currently taking ap us gov and ap comparative politics as a senior. ive been clicking around on the school site to see if its worth taking the exams, or at least one to be exempt from a general edudation requirement but ive found no clear cut answer. I already have a 5 on the ap US history and a 5 on the ap World history exams so should i be fine with social science credits already?...I was just wondering and if nobody's sure on here I'll probably just end up calling. I've just been wondering lately because AP exam registration is this week at my school and I have 6 ap courses ($86/exam) and i dont really want my parents' money to go to waste. Thanks

both the US and World History are considered History courses, not Social Sciences … you would need the Government course to qualify as a Social Science if I am correct or other types of classes. You can of course call the university as well which would be the best choice. However, I am 99% positive that the two history courses won’t cover social sciences.

Ap English is good (either one) it gets you out of Freshman Comp. Also AP Poli Sci covers your social studies.

okay good im taking ap eng lit, calc, and spanish also this year and i hope to get 4’s/5’s on all of them. i’m probably gonna end up taking those exams plus ap us gov and not comparative politics.
