AP Credit Questions

I searched and was still a little bit confused about Cornell's AP credit.

I have a 3 on World History which doesn't count
4 on English Language which counts accoridng to when I called and asked them about CALS
4 on U.S. History which counts

Do I get credit for the classes that I tested out of only if I take the more advanced classes or do I get credit regardless?

I intend on going into the AEM program in CALS.

Thanks

The credit is regardless. It’s in your name. There’s this place on Cornell’s site called DUST. You use it to check your Degree Status, which requirements you have and how much have you complete. Dunno if it’s just for CAS.
But the credit is yours and counts towards the degree. It doesn’t get put into the GPA though, and may have additional restrictions based on your college. You should really check your college registrar.

Check your transfer credit report in the student center. It will tell you exactly what you are getting credit for and how many credits etc…

I haven’t applied yet but I am planning on applying, possibly ED so I was just wondering.

Thanks for the input.
