<p>I know you can't place out of Writing the Essay...but can you place out of any Humanities courses your sophomore year with this test?</p>
<p>Well, that depends on your major, I would think.</p>
<p>For CAS, there isn't a course equivalent for Lit, although it is technically 4 credits.</p>
<p>yea- its like impossible to get exempt from writing the essay, but at my orientation/class registration they told me that my 4 on ap lit would exempt me from "the advanced college essay" which one would take second semester freshman year typically. i'm in steinhardt and i dont know if this would hold for another school at nyu, but maybe</p>
