I checked the UCI website about its AP Exam Credit. It says Maximum credit 8 units. I think it is probably one or two AP exams you can get UCI course credits, does it mean it is not need to take more AP Exams?

I don’t get what your question is asking, but I think for max 8 units it means that each AP exam can only give you a max of 8 units. It generally only gives you 4 units. I think I came in with over 8 units so the overall max is not 8 unless they changed the rules.

You can take as much AP tests as you want; that limit only means that for a single class, the max credits you can get is 8 units, but normally for a single class you’ll get 4 units. For instance, if you get a 4 or 5 on the AP Calc BC exam, you get credit for Math2A and Math2B (8 elective credits given to you), if you pass the AP Psych exam with a 3 or better, you get 4 elective credits. There is no limit for the overall amount of elective credits you can receive, but there is a limit PER AP class.

The benefit of taking the AP tests are because these elective credits will help you get priority registration over your peers. Credits is one of the factors when they give people their windows of enrollment.
