AP credits. Do they count towards major requirement?

<p>If Statistics 13 is a course I need for my major, and I got a 4 on the AP, does that mean I don’t have to take the course at all?! or would I just get units for it. Thanks!</p>

<p>You only get units at UCD for courses taken at UCD. If you pass out of the class you just move on to the next level class.</p>

<p>Statistics 13 is listed as the course equivalency for AP Statistics in the AP credit table, so I think you're exempt from taking it. Other APs have a blank under course equivalency, which means you only get units and not any specific course credit.</p>
