hi all, the only math course i’ve “taken” is my AP Statistics exam, which I passed with a 3. Does this count as a UC transferable course? thank you!
It is transferable in the sense that you will get credits for it. Most likely it doesn’t fulfill any subject requirements though, other than satisfying your Quantitative requirement. (Though I’m sure someone will come up with a major that will take this class as a requirement).
It fulfills area 2A of IGETC and it counts as 5 semester units.
https://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/counselors/exam-credit/ap-credits/ says that a 3 on AP statistics counts as a UC-M course (usable for base math requirement for transfer, though specific majors may require different math courses) and gets 2.6 semester or 4 quarter units at UC.
Thx @ucbalumnus I stand corrected. 2.6 units
