I am very interested in taking AP Economics (macro & micro), but I have recently found out that although there is a teacher for the subject at my school, there usually aren’t enough students interested have a class, resulting in it being cancelled. While I’m not certain that the same scenario will occur next year when I sign up for my classes, I’m wondering if this is a class that I can self study for. Has anyone self studied for it before and how well have you done? Is it worth it ? Any advice you can give to me would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I highly recommend self-study for these exams (macro + micro). They are EASY. It is all memorization with alittle bit of EASY graphs.

Just don’t wait till last minute. Get all the reading done by April 1st. Then do reviews during april and may.

Thanks for the suggestion. I also have the option of taking it online via Florida Virtual School, does anyone know anything about that or if it is worthwhile or should I just take the class into my own hands ?

I am taking it now in school, and it really would be easy to self-study. Just know the concepts; they are applicable to all scenarios.

Thanks for the info, I’ll most likely do that then.
