What workbooks should I use to prepare for AP English and Government? And should I take the AP test? Thanks!
I thought the best for Gov was Barron’s, and I didn’t use one for Lang (I don’t think you need to use one for either AP English. You just need to familiarize yourself with the essays).
Barron’s is great for gov if you have time to read it all- if not, REA Crash Course is great as well. I also did not use any books for lang. If you follow along in class and practice essay writing, you should be fine. In case you really want a book, I believe Cliff’s is regarded as a good one.
You should always take the AP test.
