AP english language/literature

<p>I'm trying to study for the AP english language/literature test, since it's not offered at my school. I'll take it next year, so i have about a year and a half to study it. COnsidering that i have very good to excellent writing abilities but have never done analysis of stories or that sort of stuff in my classes, and that my verbal ability is very good, do you think that i could pull off a 5 on both tests?
What textbooks, prepbooks did you use? for literature or Language AP?
how was it?
do you recommend it?
how should i go about studying for it?</p>

<p>the two ap tests are a lot about luck. make sure you read the major classics for the ap english literature test. cliff notes for the 2 tests are the best to study for the tests. we did not use any textbooks or prepbooks...try to find some old ap tests.</p>
