Hi, I’m a high school senior and my school offers both AP Language and AP Literature. I’m kind of more interested in AP Language rather than literature because I read mostly nonfiction. Also, I want to become a Chemical Engineer and AP Lang seems more relevant than AP Lit. But the problem is that I hear a lot of people say that AP Lang is for juniors and AP Lit for seniors. People also consider AP Lit to be the more challenging class. Would colleges look down on me if I take AP Lang rather than AP Lit? I’m trying to decide which one to take.
