Can anyone help me as to which is more beneficial...or actually, easier? I have a choice of either taking AP English this year (junior), or just skip it and take AP Literature next year (senior). The reason I'm thinking of skipping it is that I'm already signed up for AP Calculus AB this year, along with AP Chemistry. Dunno if I can handle it :

AP English Language is supposed to be a writing class and will probably involve doing lots of writing assignments, as opposed to reading novels (My Lang. teacher had us write many informal and miscellaneous essays frequently). The test involves analyzing use of language in essays/passages (in MC & essay) and writing essays. If you always suffer from writer's block for example, Lang. might be very time consuming in terms of homework (also depends on teacher). Easiness depends on your writing ability, general reading/English ability. By skip, I presume you mean taking regular 11th grade English?

I don't think AP Lit. would be easy, although I haven't taken that yet. It's more reading novels/poems and writing essays on them. Lots of reading. Depends on your reading level/speed.
