I thought the test was REALLY HARD when I took it. I didn't even answer most of the second FRQ =/. MC.. I eliminated nearly all problems down to 2 or 3 answers left and guessed. Turns out, I got a 5. I'm really grateful because I thought I'd get a 2. >.>

I need to work harder next year. I slacked the last 2 months of the class (around Nov - Jan) and then studied about 6 hours the day before the test. That's all the review I did. =/

The MC was a joke. I answered almost all of the questions with 1 hour remaining. There were a few I wasn't sure about (deciding between two answer choices).

The FRQ was a bit more difficult. I bs'ed through some of them and answered some of them well. I've noticed that most of the APES exam is just common sense and logic, you don't need to know a lot to bs a half page of FRQ and do decently well.

Overall it was alright. It was one of the exams I was more sure of that I got a 5. Better than Bio. >.<

I got a 5, and it was my first and last AP test. I felt like the multiple choice section was a bit difficult, having to guess on many questions. My class didn't study the placement of tectonic plates, so I BSed the first 5 questions about the diagram.

I felt like I did the best on the FRQ. I felt the 2nd and 4th questions were the easiest for me. (My class practiced a lot of math FRQs before the test.) #2 was still confusing though, so I had to reread it a couple times and look hard at the diagram until I understood it.

I was expecting a 3 or a 4, but was surprised with a 5.

Er...This was, by far, the easiest AP test I've taken. The MC took left me with around 50 minutes to nap. Admittedly, I used all but 20 minutes for the free-response. It's my nature to rush through tests, and I used most of the FRQ booklet; however, the material was not hard at all.

Compared to every other AP exam I've taken, APES has been a cakewalk...

This is being said after I BSed the entire year in my class.

I'm not sure what kind of a science background most people have before taking this test, but environmental science, as a whole, is a synthesis of basic biology, chemistry, and geology. I think most high school classes focus on "environmental science" as a subject rather than a synthesis, which renders students unprepared for the exam. At the same time, I honestly don't think AP exams are all too difficult. I'm saying this having gotten a couple 3s and a couple 4s (not straight 5s), so take my word for what it's worth.

got a 5,
i know i got one of the FRQ's wayyyy wrong. the one that involved math. so considering that, i was prettty happy i got a 5. MC wasn't terrible. I think that test has a nice curve.
