Hi! If anyone has taken the AP Environmental Science exam in the past, could you tell me how you thought it was? I haven't heard many people talk about it, so if anyone has any opinion/feedback about it, i would appreciate it!

it's hard as hell. i'm taking it this year. self study

i'm taking the AP and IB test for this. i don't know anyone who has taken it before, and i can't find any books to use to study for.

it is hard....all the less popular APs are hard....

Hmmm my twin brother took the test last year. His class hadn't completed even half of the book, he didn't study at all, and he still got a 4. He isn't a science genius, either.

I really think it's one of the easier, more common-sensey AP tests.

from the stuff that my teacher has given me, it's like AP bio, but add the political side. i'm taking it this year, and it doesn't seem very hard the practice tests that i have taken. i do have the barron study book, although i hate barron book, i have no chioce cause my teacher makes us work out of them

my teacher said to not buy the barron book and read this environmental science comic book. i agree with him.

= we took the MC from a previous year's test at the begining of the year in our APES class, I only missed 4 questions.

I am a sophmore and the only math I had prior to it was freshman bio.

Are the tests in the barron's book accurate?

the barron book is WAY different. my suggestions are to buy the 98 and 03 mc tests to study. then print the 02-04 frq and memorize them. then you'll get a 4 or 5.

yeah.. the barron's book is terrible

the barron's book is IMPOSSIBLE to do.

aggree?

aznballerlee, why do you say to memorized the 02-04 frq?? do the AP ppl reuse the frq questions every 2-3 years or something?

i took it last year. MC was hard unless you had a class, FRQs were fun and just required that you know a little bit about contemporary environmental issues and how to talk about them. i got a 3 with no prep.

I havnt done anything. Absolutely nothing. I've taken AP bio. Decided to take this for fun. I have to finish the rEA book in 2 days. Pray Pray for a 5.

I'm reading through Barrons right now. Holy crap! I don't know geological time scale, different types of volcanic eruptions, different types of lava..... am I screwed?

Um I'm not planning on memorizing types of volcanic eruptions.

Yeah, I'm definitely not. It's a full page chart. The practice test I took didn't have anything about volancoes or the history/formation of the Earth. How trustworthy is barrons for giving info that's going to be on the test-anyone know?

*** volanic eruptions?? i have taken the class, there is nothing about that in my text book. i think the barron's books is a pos, and it has been stated before. but if you have not taken the class, i don't know anything else for you to do. good luck! my test is on tues (2 days from now) eek!

otacon88, no collegeboard does not reuse the questions, but the best way to "Cram" is the memorize answers/styles.

REA is a good book i think. barron is not. they talk a lot of crap about differnet people, concepts, and dates.

im pretty sure one question will be on energy or waste.

52% = 3
63% = 4
75% = 5

good luck.
