AP Environmental Science Exam

I'll be coming to UT next year for Electrical/Computer Eng H and Plan II. I've signed up to take the AP Enviro Science Exam, but I've been told by many others (and seen on various posts) that its of no use. I've checked what classes i'll be credited (only GEO302P), but is it actually worth taking? Will I actually be taking this class at UT (I've read the recommended 4-year plan but some courses are left up to students)..

I would take the AP exam anyway just to get a credit out of the way. You’ve been in that AP class all year so why not?

You don’t need the AP Enviro Sci credit to graduate with EE/Comp Eng degree but any credit hours you claim with the eligible AP scores will put you at higher classification at UT so you will have priority class registration ( you may lose the $1000 tuition refund in your senior year tho). I agree why not taking it?

GEO 302P is no longer offered as a course at UT
