Best books for AP Euro...

What are the best study guides for AP Euro? Thanks.

I heard the PR paired with Modern European History by Viault.

I did the above (PR + Viault) and got a 4. So, I dunno. And, mind you, I started seriously reviewing maybe a week before exams, didn't look past Napoleon I, and had 103º fever during both Lit and Euro (thurs & fri)... I wasn't even going to take Euro because I didn't want to get out of bed. SO, I was more than happy with my 4...

I swear by Barron's for every AP test, I got a 5 and only studied up to Napolean so I guess it was more of a I actually learned during class type of thing, lol.

I used Barron's and I got a 5...

Does anyone have any released exams from European history?

"Rampreddy"..I think I might have one saved on my computer a link or I can see if my brother does!! I will pm you think link if I can find it!!

barrons for overview/main ideas (and some MC questions) and PR for more indepth info + good FRQ practice.

If anyone has any european released exams, I would be willing to trade, so please PM me.

Thanks in advance.

i heard the REA was good? anyone else agree

I used Viault, and the princeton review, and countless internet sites to review, and got a four.

I used REA and got a 5. It has a lot of detail.

Do you really need a prep book for euro? Not to be arrogant, but I thought that the test was pretty easy(5), as long as you read through and understood everything in your textbook.

I used a mix of:
Barrons- (concise information)
Princeton Review- (contains some minor mistakes, but the questions are very similar to those of the actual exam)
Cliffs- (great timelines of each era at the beginning of the chapter)

I got a 5 on this year's exam, although I pretty much alternated between the books every hour or so in order to get the most out of each..not the best way to study, but hey, it paid off. However, if I had the chance to do it again, I would have started reading Viault's Modern European History, which I have heard is better to read than the actual textbook..

I did PR and Viault and got a 4

I used princeton review and got a 5. Princeton Review is okay for a slight review; its tests suck. anywhow, get it for its review.

Don't use the REA. It's wayyyy too detailed and the practice exams are noticably more difficult than the real thing. My average raw score for the REA book was a 40.

Yeah don't use REA. I felt like I could have used the REA book instead of my textbook...

Pointless. Just use your textbook. I got a 5 easily using soley that.

ap euro exam is too easy and not that big of a deal; people put too much weight on aps. How about trying to enjoy high school life? I know plenty of people who went to Ivies, etc, who took about 5 aps, had a good sat score like 2250, and had good extracurrics and got in full ride. so don't fret.
