I just took the practice AP test at the back of my PR book…I got a 53/80. I feel like this is really bad, and I’m just curious how this may convert to an actual grade on the AP. Also any tips or words of wisdom from those who’ve already taken it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I wish i got 50+s :(

I get in the 40s dude :(.

but i heard princeton review tests are harder than the actual test.

That’s amazing, actually! I’ve gotten 60s on the released practice exams from past years, but I got a 43 and a 47 on the PR ones. So obviously, the PR tests are way harder than the real test!

What? PR is harder than the real test? This is the best news all year! I got 62/80 a few minutes ago on PR!!! Yeah!!!

Sorry about the corniness of that post lol…but seriously, this is awesome :)

usually test prep books have harder MC questions than the actual exam.
that’s what i found was the case comparing to the released exams.

Wow, this thread makes me feel a lot better! I just got a 57/80 on the first test in my PR book and started getting worried.

I think I’m going to go take a PR practice test… I haven’t read PR yet (was going to tomorrow or tonight), but I’m curious to see how I’ll do… Wish me luck :)

“Bon Marche in Paris was an early…”
Hahaha, I can’t believe PR asks this! I remember SHOPPING at Bon Marche when I was younger! Too bad questions like these aren’t actually on the AP exam :P

48/80… 60% :’( On the bright side I haven’t read any of PR yet, so I will tonight and take the other practice test. I should score at least 10% better after reading the book I would hope… maybe? :)

that’s good, I got a 58 Cliffs and like a little less than half in PR, but I had a week more of studying for cliffs, but still. I’m taking another PR test today so I’ll update you tonight on whether it’s harder or not.

Wow this makes me feel so much better, haha! Thanks everyone! any advice from those who have taken it?

Oh and I got a 69/80 on the practice one we took in class today! It was ridiculous!

Looks like we’re all going to do well at least on the MC sections! Haha, I’m SOOO worried about the essays though. I’m pretty sure that I can pull off the necessary percentage for a 5 on the MC, but I have yet to write a single FRQ/DBQ for Euro :(

Go on Collegeboard and look at FRQ questions or google practice ones. REMEMBER BIAS ANALYSIS IN DBQ!

I heard that we aren’t supposed to use the word “bias” in the DBQ. Can someone confirm this?

Analyze three POV and why it might skew the document’s content

Yes, but I was told to avoid the actual word “bias”

I mean, if that’s what you were told/heard then I would just say “the point of view may be skewed because…” but avoid the word bias. Thanks for the tip.

Ya, I was told to use the word “influence”

Remember to give attribution first to the documents (Speaker X at the national convention is saying that the country is moving towards a more imperialistic path) then after that discuss the POV of the document.
