My euro teacher that when he administers practice tests and people score in the 50s they're most likely to get 5s. I thought PRs test #1 was harrrrd though... I scored in like the 40s and I got into the mid 50s when taking the real practice 2004 test

Wait are u saying 50/80 will give you a good chance of a 5? Sweet cuz I got 71 on the 1999 practice test!

^ good quest or in the 50s like 50%??

i just took the first PR test and missed a bunch!!! Well, I missed 16 so that means when I subtract another 4 points for the guessing penalty I get 60/80, or a 75%... Do you think I could get a 4 (or maybe a 5!!??!!) with that?

I don't think Princeton's Euro tests are very accurate at all. I got like 40/80 on their tests, while I got 65/80 on released past AP exams. And I got a 5 on the actual exam last year, so yeah. Don't worry too much if you're bombing Princeton's tests; some of their questions are just so ridiculously obscure and they're not very representative of the actual test.

Tonight, I'm just reviewing for tomorrow...should I look over PR or Cliffs?

I personally like PR's summary. I think they tell you main stuff and what you need to know.

Hmm yeah I was getting really scared too because I took the first PR test tonight and scored really low :( while I scored much higher on the real MC test from 2004 I took today. Well hopefully the PR questions are harder than the real thing.
GOOD LUCK TOMORROW!

I'm glad I took the break from studying to come on here to discover that others were performing badly on PR's practice test#1. I read through the entire history review and some things I don't even REMOTELY remember being menitoned.

I thought the PR questions were absolutely ridicious. It was not representative at all of the actual test - they cover a lot of stuff that is not covered on the actual AP exam. I also found their review annoying - I thought it qould be a good, quick way to review everything but most of the stuff on there was useless when it came to the real test.

same here.

Good luck around here test for us is in 4 hours

ebonytear- I'm so glad you also hated PRs review. I thought it got to be ridiculous at points. I timed myself - to get through 10 pages it took me 40 minutes. That's NOT a quick review. I wish I would've gotten a spark chart or whatever those things are that just list the important info without the wordiness. I'll probably buy some of those for govt and macro, if they have them...

PR's practice tests were pretty radically different from the actual test this year. :/

They did have that same picture of Hitler stabbing Stalin in the back...

EVERY test has that cartoon, lol

Yeah! They did have the Hitler stabbing Stalin in the back picture.. but I saw it AFTER I took the test! grr and I got it wrong.. stupid me =(

You know what's weird is that I've seen that cartoon of Hitler stabbing Stalin several times (PR book, Euro class, etc.) and I never really got it but when it came to be test time, I noticed for the first time that Hitler had a knife and was stabbing Stalin. I had always thought they were just hugging, lmao. So yeah I figured it out just in time, lmao.

I'm so unobservant sometimes, lol.

I was REALLY surprised they used that image -- I've seen it thousands of times. What about the one with the woman, though? Or the apartment?
