Does anyone know how similar the two tests are? I'm currently taking AP euro but I'm considering self-studying for AP world. I want to know how much additional material there would be to study and if it would be do-able.

world history covers basically everything, but doesn't cover ush and euro in depthly

things that overlap on euro and world: age of discovery, colonialism, imperialism, ottomans, wwi, interwar, wwii, cold war, nationalism...

there are two different essay styles: comparative and change over time and the dbq is supposedly easier

As far as format they're quite similar

However the material is quite different

The few things that do overlap are covered really broadly in WH but more in depth in EH
