It's my first AP ever (I'm a sophomore). It's on May 6th. Everyone' just freaking out about it, but honestly I only really want a 3. What are everyone's experiences with this specific AP? Or any tips for me?? Thanks!

My daughter took it a couple of years ago and studied on her own with the Barrons study guide. There was a review class at school but she did not take it. She passed with a 4 and felt it was pretty easy. My son is currently taking the class and will take the AP test in May. He has been going thru the study guide on his own and also tries to go to the review class. He just took a practice test and scored 100 not inclucing the essay. He is feeling pretty good about and not stressing. Stop worrying about it and just spend the next couple of weeks reviewing. You will do fine.

Thanks, I’ll try and get the patience to review…

The class was a joke. I paid attention as well as I could to my teacher’s lectures at 7 in the morning, but we had no HW or FRQ practice. I reviewed the REA book, but that had too much info. I looked at the PR book, that was no good as well - still too much extraneous info. I took some released exams, which were extremely helpful. I got a 5.

Summary: Review/highlight a practice book, but don’t try to memorize everything - whatever you remember from the class is probably the important info you need for the test. Take released exams. Practice some FRQs and DBQs. Done.
