So I was looking through the admitted students’ website and took a peek at the AP Scores/Credit chart… out of the 4 AP exams I planned on taking this may (and already paid the initial $13 fee for), penn will only accept one of them (plus you have to get a 5)… is there any point in taking the other three if i plan on attending penn?

Absolutely not! :) Get out while you can and make the end of your senior year just a little less stressful :)

if you're positive about going to Penn and you haven't paid most of it yet, then no, don't take them.

don't take them...i did, and it was a waste....and i got 5's! even if u "get credit" u still have to take courses in that area to meet requirements, especially if you are pre-med

you never know. you may transfer. if so, you'll be pretty darn mad for not taking those tests.

yeah, it really sucks that penn only accepts 5s. i emailed an admissions officer to see if they take 4s into consideration for placement and things like that (brown does this), and they said they didnt. i was considering doing 4 ap tests too, but am only going to do one because i realized there was no way i was getting a 5 on any of the other three. id try to be realistic about what tests you might actually get a 5 on, so that you dont end up wasting your money and needlessly stressing yourself out
