Hi there!

I'm currently in my third year of french and from the very beginning(freshman) I knew that I would definately like to take the ap french course in my senior year. Believe it or not, despite all my hard effort of finishing top of the french class and all that, our school canceled the ap french course for the reason that too few of us signed up. The problem is that the school notified us way too late for us to even make a decision! I know that ivies(esp. Harvard) recommend four years of a foreign language, but what really would be the best option for a student like me? I've considered Harvard Extension School but sadly the schedule doesn't work out(meets afterschool, I have extracurricular stuff) and the course they offer isn't really ap level anyway. I've looked online and found that there is a virtual course for AP French at Keystone National High School, but then again looking at their syllabus, it seems like the class might be a bit too easy...

So, please, I would appreciate and consider all your advices! Would taking the online course the right way to go(would be considered as independent study depending)? Or would tutoring work(from former ap french teacher?) For the time being, my counselor signed me up for ap econ just to fill up the space(in lieu of ap french) but I feel stuck! Thanks and have a great day :)
