im fluent and have been taking french since kindergarten (im a sophomore now) and i have to take the ap test soon. im hoping to get a 5 since ive been to france 4 times and have stayed with french families and am very comfortable speaking and writing. anyone have any tips??

If you are comfortable speaking, reading, and writing, then I think the best tip is just to be familiar with the format of the test – what the different sections are, what they are asking of you, and how much time you have.

Also, if possible, practice ahead of time with the recording devices (computers or tape recorders) that your school will use during the exam.

I am a sophomore who is attending an International school. I lived in Canada for 6 years so I learned French since gr.4. In our school, there are French 1, 2, 3, 4, and AP French. I am right now taking French 4 with a 92% average. I can take AP french if i choose to, but I don’t know much about APs. I never took an AP before so AP French will be my first AP.

Im planning on taking only AP French in my junior year and 2 or 3 in a senior year… Do you think it’s a good idea?

For me GPA is very important because i want to apply for colleges in Canada ( UBC, McGill, U of T) Any ideas or suggestions??
