For those who took ap german this week.
How did it go?
Was it hard for you?
What do you think you will get?

It went all right. I screwed up the speaking portion by not speaking long enough, so I’m a bit disappointed. My essay wasn’t very poetic, but it was long enough and made sense. I thought the reading and listening sections were considerably easy.

I’d be happy with a 4, but since native speakers make the curve so harsh, I’ll probably end up with a 2 or 3. I hope I pass. :/

On the other hand, if I end up failing, it’s not the end of the world because I’m a junior in my third year of German and I can always take it again.

Good luck guys! I’m taking it next year.

@cruxclaire
wow you’re a junior and you took german ap already?
i think you have fair advantage than others for next year, since this year the college board changed the whole format of ap german.
I bet you’ll ace the ap german the next time you take it again.
Good luck and I hope you get the score you need.

@Cokesider

Thanks, that’s encouraging!
Actually, I already had a tiny advantage this year because one of the source articles for the persuasive essay was something my German teacher had given us to read during our meager preparations for the exam (only three people, me and two seniors, took it), and I recognized it immediately.

I just wish it was more like the AATG exams, because those are a cakewalk (probably because there’s no writing/speaking >.<).

GUUUUUYYSSSSS, THEY’RE INNNNNNN!
12.2% earned a 5!
24.6% earned a 4!
33.2% earned a 3!
20.1% earned a 2!
9.9% earned a 1!

I hope y’all get what you want! I am hoping I got what I want too! Because I tried for this! :)
