<p>You do realize that we live in a country that practices a form of representative democracy, right? </p>
<p>EX: Consider the decisions that senators make for the country, does it always align the people's interest? Do red-state politicians always make "conservative" decisions? Think about the illegal immigration issue, are senators out there trying to protect our borders and align their decisions w/ the people? Why or why not? Those are the type of questions that you should start asking yourself</p>
