AP Grades Up

For those of you that need to know to in order to have the proper prerequisites to sign up for classes.

Yeah you can call The AP Grades by Phone at (888) 308-0013 and have your AP number or SSN ready along with a credit card number ( you have to pay $8 to find out your scores, but it's worth it). And for those of you who forgot/can't find your AP number and didn't put your SSN on the answer sheets, you can call AP Customer Service at (888) 225-5427 during business hours to find out your AP number and then you can use the AP Grades by phone thing.

can we use our ap scores to place out of classes any year at duke? or does it have to done freshman year?

You can place out of classes any year I'm sure; I'm using my AP bio credit next year.

Alright, so if we find out we can place out of a class, how do we get past the big red R (for prereq) during registration? Do we just sign up for a lower level class and then transfer up during the first two weeks of school?

Also, is there any benefit in skipping lower level courses that one does NOT want to major in? For example: A biology major taking a more advanced history class his freshman year

You can still sign up for a class with the 'R', as long as you have the required AP credit necessary (which can be verified later).

I signed up for Math 103 - which requires BC calculus - and I had no problems.
