So, I usually get about 72% of the score on multiple choice, giving me about 43.25 points. Here's what I got on a particular set of FRQs. So far, it's the only set I've really practiced with yet.

FRQ 1: 6/8
FRQ 2: 5/6
FRQ 3: 2/8 (Yeah, sort of bombed this one.)

Also, dumb question, but how many points will I typically get docked for atrocious spelling? Anyway, thanks!

spelling generally doesn’t matter but I took this class in 9th grade exam was so easy. The FRQ’s are generally based on a point system (at least, that’s how I remember it being) so spelling shouldn’t matter much. Putting wrong information isn’t counted off for either, I don’t believe.

Alright, that’s good to know. Especially that stuff about wrong information. So, you think I can make it to 5 with my current score? And if so, is it a high or a low five?

43.25+ (13/22*60) = 43.25 + 35.5 = 78.7= Low 5

You forgot to deduct the points from the ones you got wrong

Oh. Nah, the 71% is with deductions included. Although if it’s only a low 5, I should probably study a bit more so I can be sure I’ll be able to get a good score. I’m worried that the actual test might turn out harder.

Spelling only matters if it’s so bad they don’t know what word you meant. Otherwise they won’t mind that much. It might be the difference if you’re between, say, a 4 and a 5, but it wouldn’t bring your grade down much, if at all.
