Is it 50% multiple choice & 50% free-response?
What is the length of time for each part of the test?
What do you have to get on each part to get a 5?

Also, I am not confident on the writing. I'm afraid I'll be confronted with a topic that I do not know. do you think I can get a 5 if I do really well on the multiple choice and so-so on the writing by putting heavy emphasis on studying/memorizing information and just not practicing writing that much?

You legit don’t need to know that much or study. Human Geo is basically common sense. Know the models of cities, demographic transition model, all the vocab, and a few examples for things. Eg: devolution = Yugoslavia. It is reallyreallyreally easy.

It’s interesting to see your dramatically different posting styles (asking for advice vs. ■■■■■■■■).

Anyway, what Millancad said. It’s grouped with Psychology and EnviroSci as one of the easier AP exams. Read the book, know some vocab and key points.

lmao, i ■■■■■?
nah…i just tend to have an aggressive disposition at time but also a passive one too

Hey guys,

So I’ve read through quite a few posts saying that APHG is like a piece of cake and all; what if you’ve never taken a class on it, or haven’t read the textbook? Yeah, pretty wise of me, considering I’ve got like less than two weeks to study (and I have 3 other APs). Any study tips for a person who has never seen the material?

-I do have the textbook, which I intend to read maybe a night/two before
-I bought the Barron’s study guide-> should I just read this instead of the textbook?

PS- how exactly is the grade distribution dispersed?
How many points on multiple choice do I need to get, and how many on free-response, to get a 5? I expect this will be one of the easier APs, but I still need a few hints.

PPS- i’m canadian, so once again, AP is kinda new to me :)

^Read Barrons and forget the text book.
Grade distribution is google-able.

Don’t worry, I’m in the same place as you are for psych.
