For those who already took APHG, what are most of the quetions like? Is the exam mostly knowing vocabulary, concepts, statistics, or all of them? I heard somewhere that there are alot of stats that you should know.. is it true?

And for the free-response sections, any tips on writing them?

I can’t remember much about AP multiple choice. (I took it as a freshman). I remember though, that I was glad to have both Barron’s and Kaplan’s because there was stuff in Kaplan that was on the test that Barron’s didn’t have and there was stuff that Barron’s had but Kaplan didn’t that was on the test.

As for the free-response, mine was about religion and the Green Revolution and something about squatter stuff outside the city.

Like there was a map and I had to identify the religions(easy thanks to our teacher’s study packet) but then I had to explain why it was concentrated there(i stunk on this part). Green revolution made me happy. Can’t exactly remember why. I’m sure this FRQ is on collegeboard’s AP Central.

But when you write them, make sure you know your stuff. And order your points from what you are sure to what you are least sure because readers don’t take off points but they don’t want laundry lists and will take the first examples. And I think that is all I can remember about APHG. xD

I got a 4.
