Pretty easy question atleast for me,
The answer is:
C. Had more elderly people

Next Question:
What is the difference between a megalopolis, and a metropoltan area.

Pretty easy question atleast for me,

Next Question:
What is the difference between a megalopolis, and a metropoltan area.

Can you give me a link to the online quizzes if you have it?
Also, do you have an aim?

Yea...67/75 was good...but on the released exam, I got 50/70, and I guessed on about 30 questions.

Megalopolis-overlapping Metropolitan Statistical Areas (Coastal California,BosnyWash)
Metropolitan Area- A city and its sphere of influence (metropolitan statistical Area - city and surrounding counties where atleast 50% are employed in the city)

Assuming a world population of 5,700,000,000 and an annual growth rate of 1.6 percent, how many people will be added ot the world's population in the next year?

A. 912,000
B. 9,120,000
C. 91,200,000
D. 912,000,000
E. 9,120,000,000

I know how to do this on the calculator, but I don't know how to find the answer with paper and pencil, so can someone show me how to do this?

I am self-studying for this AP, which makes this a LOT harder.

Next Question: What is an isogloss?

That question was on the test I think. Since thie growth rate is in the 1 - 4% range(1.6), count the number of digits and subtract 2 from it. In this case 10 - 2, or 8. Your final answer should contain 8 digits or C.

I am taking a class for this, but my teacher strictly followed the ruben stein book. She also rushed past the key chapters.

In the released exam I would have gotten a 62/74 if it not were for my carelessness(59/74 was my real score). I think that is a 5.

Isogloss is a lingustic boundary and/or a topographical line denoting elevation.

What was supernational organization formed as a reaction to NATO?

AH...I remember reading it in the study guide, but here is my guess...I know it has something to do with language, and my guess is that it is like the boundary between differenct dialects.

Easy...I take AP world, so the answer is the Warsaw Pact created by the communist Soviet Union and the satellite states.

Thanks for the website...

Next question: What is Weber's Model (don't know the answer).

It is the warsaw pact(i think). I don't think an isogloss is topographical line denoting elevation. I thought it had more to do with language. Ypou are probably mixing it up with "isolines"

Next Question: Name several stateless nations.

Weber's model describes Least Cost theory. Industries locate to minimize transportation costs.

Time for a hard question:
What is Smart Growth?

Dang...I really don't know, is it in the Rubenstein book?

It is also in Barron's. It is when cities limit urban sprawl and promote infilling.

Name stateless nations.
Also know about Malthus. I have seen a question about him in like every test.

Ram My aim is "worstbadboy"

Kurds, Palestinians, Some Yugoslavian Groups, Sikhs, Native Americans, etc.

Who is Nicholas Spykman and what did he propose?
