yea the 2nd essay was wierd... the multiple choice wasnt that bad. i missed a stupid answer i should of got. that was possbly the easiest question on there. stupid me

Did anyone get the question about "low terminal line" and "high ____[something]" with the answer choices truck, airplane, train, etc?

What was it talking about?

P.S. I only had the Barron's to work with.. I didn't know there was a textbook to this thing until about 3 days when I first came to this site.

And the 2nd essay about the call center... what are the real reasons?

i put airplane

wats terracing

I'm predicting a 5 if they buy my FRQ #2 response. A 4 if they don't. =P But all is good considering how my only prep was yesterday. I was the only person in my district to take it, so I had my own comfortable room with a nice proctor who knew my name cause I had her in the morning for AP Lang. And I had a nice rounded conference table with a glass top, as opposed to the crappy wood one I used in the morning that GAVE ME A SPLINTER WHEN I STARTED PART II ESSAYS (no joke!).

... am I the only one who did awful?

I'm predicting a five for myself as well, even if they don't buy my FR #2. I did rather well on the MC, and I nailed the #1, #3, but that call center one was intersting....

I discussed something to the extent of geographical location, the nature of communication, the typical education and economics of somebody living in the southern United States...and made myself almost not want to have a call center...

"terminal" question was:
"what is blah blah blah low terminal cost, high line cost, high route flexibility"
I put train cuz terminal is pretty cheap, rails are expensive, and theres a lot of tracks nowadays so theres a lot of routes possible. Thought it was pipeline, but the terminal cost gotta be pretty high (pumps'n'stuff)
second essay was weird, i just made a bunch of stuff up.
First AP exam ever for me, yay! wasnt that bad though.

Same for me...first exam, but do you guys know where Christianity began? In what location of the world, this is not related to the Geo test, but rather to world, as I can't find the answer.

Is it eastern or western Europe?

In Israel.........

Dude, Jesus was crucified in Jerusalem.... figure it out.

*** more discussion people

western or eastern europe? whattt? lol wasnt it western asia??

for the rail question i think i put trucks because a garage is pretty cheap for a car i think. not too much matienence requiered there, whereas a train would cost alot to store i feel...
idk i had no idea.

effin a, it was way harder than i thought it would be, but then again i only studied sunday and i didnt take the class.

i agree with serin on both counts, the answer was southwestern asia. some of the multiple choice i didnt know but then again I started studying 18 hours before the test so yah it was harder than I thought. I totally bombed essay number 2, the other two I aced. I'm still thinking I got a 5. i felt really confident with the multiple choice.

im praying to god for a 3 haha

am i missing something about essay number 2? why does everyone think it was so hard? i thought it was probably the easiest one there...

what did you all say

I remember last year, when my class mistook the whole first question because they thought that supranationalism is the same as simple nationalism. Good times.

I didn't think it was hard, just very random.

I discussed what call centers are, how they are in fact footloose MDC concentrated industries that can function almost anywhere. Small towns provide low costs in wages, land costs and provide the company with a population that is friendly, inviting and typically American which is needed for custome service. The negatives is that towns built such ways can lose the industry as fast as they gained it, that the educational level of a community is not improved and that an economic policy that attracts these costs a region other types of industrial jobs that were may have been more suited for a population.

oo good call. i did about the same stuff on that....

but i figured they included the info about the builiding being used before as an auto part plant for a reason so i wrote about that in the disadvantage to the local econ bc the jobs were lost for that couldnt be compensated by a call center offering a limited range of jobs requiering no speciality skill.

Yeah, I added that in also :)

It was an easy question, so were #1 and #3 were GIMMEESS!

how did you address 3 anyway, i totally pulled that out of my ass
