<p>I am looking into going to top tier math/science schools such as MIT or Harvey Mudd. I am debating whether to take World History or AP World History next year at my school. I looked at the schools websites and it seems that the only credit I can get it elective credit if I get a 5 on the exam (credit isn't that important to me). My main question is: "How would taking this class (or not taking this class) affect my chances of admission?" I really do not like history, but I will do whatever I have to in order to help increase my chances of admission.</p>
