AP Literature and SAT CR

So, I have English Lit. tomorrow. I have not once looked at the material because I have been too busy studying for Calc and Chem. I am taking an AP Lit class right now, and I think it's a decent class, so I'm not too worried. What I want to know is how much (or how little) AP literature has to do with the critical reading section of the SAT. I got a 800 on the CR, and I was wondering how similar the MC part of AP lit would be because it's from the same company and all. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

I think it is pretty similar, the ap exam usually asks harder questions about tone and style.

and you have to write 3 essays in2 hours....lol

I took the test last year and it was really similar to the CR section on the SAT. If you're okay with applying all the literary devices to various works, then I'm sure a 5 wouldn't be too difficult.

...if its similar, ap lit will own me like no tomorrow.

^^ yaaay me too

Okay these practice MC sections are not going well. I don't get it! I consider myself a good reader, and I aced AP Lit the class. I'm not worried for the essay parts, because I'm a better writer. But what the heck.

I'm not very good at SAT CR either... are these MCs gonna **** me?

And can any of these APs be retaken in subsequent years? Or only once ever?

Ha, glad to hear that. I'm not even going for a 5; i just want a four. So I guess I'm fine. thanks
