AP or Dual Enrollment?

Hello everyone :)
I think this is my first time writing anything on CC board!

I'm a junior and taking 7 college classes from a community college near my school.
I started taking classes from there when i was a freshmen.
So here is the thing, since i've been taking so many dual enrollment classes, i'll be graduating with associate degree.
(although i will choose not to be a junior but a freshmen when i get into a college)
And my high school doesn't offer AP classes, i didn't take any of them.
However, i feel anxious about not taking ANY of AP tests...
My counselor said i dont need to take any because i have credits already,
but do YOU think it'd be necessary?
i already know all materials of subjects enough to take AP tests,
so should i take AP tests?
or will it be just waste of time/money?
What do you think?

Thanks guys :)
I appreciate it.

You should definitely take AP exams. Since you plan to enter college as a freshman, you won't have to take courses in which you got a 3+ on the AP exam for (assuming the college accepts AP credit). This will make tuition less costly for you, so in the long run, you'll be saving time and money, not wasting it.

Honestly, it'd be safer to take a few AP's though its probably not necessary. Take the Subjects you're most familiar with and get a few easy 5's =)
