I wish to get accepted into the country's, top schools. I'm a Sophomore in High School, and the thing is I've been apart band since 4th grade, and my only big extra curricular are Band, Track, and Student Council. My schedule only works 3 ways and I don't know which path to choose. I can give up Band, to fit in AP Bio, the only AP offered for Sophomores, at my school, drop down to CP US History 2, to fit in AP Bio, or just not take AP Bio. I would take it Junior, or Senior year, but I already have AP's planned, Chem, Stats, Calc, Enviro, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

At the end of the day, do whichever interests you more; I would not drop band.

You say you have all your AP’s for junior/senior year planned out. OK, that’s good, but for what purpose are you taking those specific AP’s? Depending on the college you are attending, you may not get credit for AP’s in stats or ES, so that might impact your decision. If you don’t have a burning desire to study a certain subject, there’s no need to take the AP version, just because it’s AP.
