So its the end of my junior year and my US history teacher gave me the option of choosing between Honors & AP Econ for next year. I’m guessing my senior year won’t be heard because I’ll only be taking: Honors English, Stats, AP Spanish, and Forensics. So should I take on AP Econ or just stick with honors?
Just take the AP - not considered one of the tougher ones. Best case, you do well, take the AP exam, and get college credit. Worst case, you do poorly and no one really cares because colleges don’t put too much stock in midyear the report
I would also reccommend AP Econ.

AP. … agree that if you do well on test, you could get college credit. Disagree that mid year report doesn’t matter, though. It can help by demonstrating improvement, or it can make it apparent that you can’t go the distance.
Ok thank you all! I’ll definitely be taking AP, and I spoke to my teacher about it and she said it was wise to choose AP as well because if anything I can just transfer into honors. Apparently its much harder moving from honors into AP than vice versa
