AP, or not

So… I’m currently a rising sophomore in high school and am facing a bit of a conundrum- being two APS or one. The APS of choice would be AP Environmental Sciences and World History. I feel that I’m adequately prepared to take two, but am still nervous. I skipped out on the option to take AP Human Geography (even though I was recommended) out of fear of going into a college-leveled class straight out of middle school. My classes and grades are as listed: H Wrld Hstry <1500 (99), H English (100), HPE (100), H Band (100), Latin 1 (100 - switched from H Spanish 2), H Biology (99), H Geometry (100). I was also in the 99+ percentile of the PSAT. I may be joining IB next year too, meaning I will also have a pre-IB English class. I know I feel like I’m qualified for these classes but I still have some doubt (perhaps it’s because I’ve never taken an AP :/). What do you guys think? Are the APS I’m interested easy or hard? Any advice for these classes? Thanks you in advance for anything you can do to calm my nerves!

Each AP test costs around $95, so if you take 10 AP tests ($950) and get 3, 4, 5 scores, later when you get into a college, even one AP accepted as credit, you win.

In our state university, one course (3 credit hours) costs about $1700.
