AP Physics B or Physics Honors

Should i take AP Physics B or honors? my sis who i consider smarter than me especially in english and writing had to get a tutor to keep an A in honors but i think i might be smarter than her at math. I want to major in Econ in college and i want to take ap because it counts as the half computer credit i need to graduate and so next year(senior year) i could take Calc honors or ap, AP Stat, and AP Econ. However the teacher made AP Physics B sound like the hardest course you could ever take. i get straight A's have an A+ in chem and got an A in algebra 2/trig last year. im taking pre-calc honors next year. another thought is i might wanna go to stanford or uc-berkley(even tho i live near dc) so ap physics would def help even if im not trying to do anything with science.

AP Physics B give generic credit at Berkeley, but no useful subject credit.

AP Physics B gives subject credit for a quarter or two of physics for biology majors at Stanford.

If you want to major in Economics, consider the AP courses in Calculus, Economics, and Statistics. You will likely have to take more advanced Math and Statistics courses for an Economics major (including college junior level courses if you want to go to graduate school in Economics).

AP Physics B isn’t too difficult. I would say its a good introduction course to physics to anyone looking to pursue a STEM field. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone with an interest in science.
