how do you feel about the relative difficulties?

I took the sat physics recently and thought it was pretty hard.
I looked over AP Physics MC questions from the past and....they seem a little easier.

AP physics B is more mathy, meaning you'll have to do more calculations. SAT II physics is more conceptual, there is less math, and more random knowledge/memorization/reasoning questions.

Otherwise, I'd say the MC of Physics B covers more range of difficulties. There are both very hard, and very easy questions. SAT subject test has about the same difficulty for all of them, with a few hard ones. The harder thing for SAT is that it is more time crunch (75 question/hr). However, I'd say getting a 5 on the Physics B exam is harder than getting a 770-800 range for SAT physics.

I agree with you. I took the ap exam a week after taking the subject test and I found it a lot easier.

My scores reflected that as well.

Then again, I tend to think that freaking out after taking the subject test made me better prepared for taking the ap, so that probably factors into it a little
