AP Physics C co-enrolled with AP Calc BC?

I will be a high school senior next year, and I plan to take AP Physics C co-enrolled with AP Calc BC. Currently, I’m taking honors pre-calc, so I was wondering if I should take any type of calculus or physics course over the summer. Fall’s a busy time of year for me, and I want to be prepared.

No. If you’re in honors pre-calc, you should be starting some of the Calc AB topics toward the end of this year; that will be enough to get you started. Most students take Calc (with AB or BC) concurrently. No worries.

Thanks! Good to know, many students in the grade above at my school have had a year with IB Math HL, so that’s why I asked. Knowing what you said about the math classes stresses me out less

If you put the time into it you will find taking both Calc BC and Physics C is very enjoyable, since the two courses can feed off of each other and work together. Good luck!
