Hey, I want to self-study AP physics C E and M, since only Mech is taught is my school.I want to say that I have no major experience in physics(a learning workshop, that’s all).I got a 5 on the BC test, so math should not be a problem.I am willing to put in at least a 5 hours per week for self-studying this course. So my questions is will it be possible to get a 5?also, it would be rly helpful if u could direct me to some resources.do I have to put in more effort than that?
Thx a lot, i rly need help deciding so anything would be a great help
We just helped my son, a junior, self study for just the AP Physics C Mechanics exam which he will take Monday. We used online college lectures, MIT physics class and book, and AP Physics C study book. He also has worked the last three exams. He is hoping for a 5 so he can skip to Physics 2 in college, they don’t offer the Calculus ones at his school, he took AP Physics 1 but the AP teachers at his school are not good and the kids score terrible so he just self studied and did the Calculus curriculum as he has finished Calc 2. Hoping for a 5! From what I saw, you only need about 55-60 % correct for a 5. Oh and he spent about 2 hours a week in the beginning of the semester and then more as he got closer.
thx a lot
I have actually decided to self study AP Physics Mechanics instead of E and M, as AP physics C M will also help in the olympiad
